May 9: 74th Annual Spring Show
I got brand new- never seen before work. Plus many of other great artists.
The opening reception is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served. During the opening reception there will be entertainment by the 'hula-hoop troop' and awards will be announced at 8 pm on The Spirit Cafe' stage. Also during the opening, the public has a chance to win an original Billy Perry Watercolor. Judged by Kathleen Zimbicki

May 12: Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art
The artwork of Sam Thorp will be at 20th Annual Benefit "Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art" Auction; hosted by PERSAD. One Night Only! May 12th at the Carnegie Museum of Art. 6-11pm. With more than 1,600 people; over 200 pieces of art from regional, national and international artists; food from the area's top restaurants; and entertainment from the best the city has to offer; it's the can't miss event of the season. 4400 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15213- 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Private Preview & Cocktails for Patron Ticket Holders only- 6:00 - 11:00 p.m. General AdmissionTickets start at $75 and are available Here.

The 15 Minutes Gallery will launch its inaugural exhibition with an artist’s reception on Thursday, June 12, 2008 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. - featuring:
- WYEP's Pittsburgh Artist of the Year, Ben Hardt and His Symphony
- Silent Art Auction, featuring original etchings by Renoir, Picasso and Salvador Dali
- Special Screening of Carl Kurlander’s new film "My Tale of Two Cities" (link to his website)
- Cocktails + Hors D'oeuvres

World conquest
I can now call myself an INTERNATIONAL designer. i finished some work for a women's crisis center in canda and a website in the UK.
perhaps you've heard of her: http:///www.opctown.com
If you're in the London area go check her out. ... she likes being checked out.
And if you are closer to Leeds, UK find a place called OK Comics and look for the titles: " Colouring Outside the Lines, Manifesta, and (my favorite) Suck my left one". You will find my artwork in any or all of those 'zines.
